Activision announced today that on June 3rd they’ll be releasing to Xbox LIVE a Multiplayer Map Pack they’re calling the “Call of Duty(R): Modern Warfare(R) 2 Resurgence Pack”. They’re going to need some resurgence with this map pack because the last one came out to mediocre reviews.

Activision has released the price of their upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map pack, pegging it at 1200 Microsoft points, or $15 USD.

With a franchise as successful as the Rock Band series, you knew there was never a question of if there would be another one, only when it would come. Harmonix has delivered, announcing on Facebook that Rock Band 3 will be out in time for Christmas this year.

Fans of zombie-shooter series Resident Evil rejoice as the first DLC pack for Resident Evil 5 hits the Xbox Live marketplace today with a release on the Playstation Network coming tomorrow. For under five bucks, you get access to a new scenario, exploring Spencer Mansion as seen previously only in flashbacks, as well as 2 exclusive characters for the online Mercenaries mini-game, each with their own weapons and costumes.

The video game company SEGA announced this morning that it would turn it’s not so secret project “needlemouse” into Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The newly launched website only says that it’ll be released summer 2010 and that it will be released on PlayStation Network, XBox Live, WiiWare, and possibly a mystery console.
