The cloud gets more crowded

Google is making could computing more and more mainstream today. People are computing the cloud and not even knowing what it is.

HP Donates to Red Cross for Haiti and Encourages Employees to do the Same

Today the HP Company Foundation announced that it would donate $500,000 to the American Red Cross to help efforts in Haiti and will match up to $250,000 in employee donations. Way to go HP.

From HP:

The Hewlett-Packard Company Foundation today announced that it has committed $500,000 to the American Red Cross International Response Fund to support relief efforts in Haiti following the earthquake that devastated the country this week.

The HP Company Foundation also announced that it has committed up to $250,000 to match eligible contributions by employees of HP in support of the earthquake relief efforts.

This great effort is just the latest in tech companies finding ways to aide Haiti.
