Activision announced today that on March 30th they’ll be releasing to Xbox LIVE a Multiplayer Map Pack their calling the “Call of Duty(R): Modern Warfare(R) 2 Stimulus Package”. What’s the stimulus?
The map pack to be released at the end of this month will be the first multiplayer map pack releasedy by Activision/Blizzard. ADDITIONALLY, the map pack will be available on a trial basis from March 12 to March 15th to Silver (free) Xbox LIVE members.
Developed by Infinity Ward, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 became a cultural phenomenon when it launched to the world in November. The epic title set new entertainment records for the greatest one-day and five-day openings in history* on the way to topping $1 billion in sales and becoming the best selling title ever on the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Additionally, Xbox LIVE celebrates having the largest Call of Duty community than any other entertainment system.

i heard they are bringing back crossfire and overgrown. and the new gametype is “global therrmo nuclear war” Or something close, and in it you fight to capture a nuke placed somewhere in the map.

only 5 new maps have been confirmed, crash and overgrown from cod4 and 3 new maps bailout salvage and storm new perks and weapons are only rumors

7 maps… 3 old (taken from cod4 : Vacant, overgrown, crashsite) and 4 new (Complex, storm, … go on youtube and write mw2 stimulus map pack.. you'll see all the maps!

look guys in the stimulus package released by Activision includes: 1 new game-type, 3 new maps (never seen before) and 2 maps from cod4 (overgrown and crash) the new game-type is called global thermonuclear war, its a game type where u have to capture the nuke and everything is in slow mo.. kind've gay.

im not sure if they are gonna have a gametype but if they do its thermonuclear war many have played it on their “mods”. but yes a total of 5 maps and i heard its 1200 microsoft points

im disappointed in them
they arnt that good salvage is my favorite map of all cod mod2 maps i think now but im still dissapointed i expected there to be another big map release…….the two old maps is a good idea but if im paying 15$ for new maps i want 5 new ones….. they should just have a cod 4 map pack over all really disapointed im sure ill warm up to them though hopefully the next dlc is actutly worth 15$
