After hurricane Katrina, Google quickly responded using what it’s got the most of, information. Now they’re doing the same with relief for Haiti. Google now has a special site dedicated to:
- info on donating relief funds using well known text campaigns
- donating relief funds using Google Checkout
- offering a website badge to help locate victims
- providing a dedicated news feed
- and of course, providing map overlays of the affected areas
