How Google’s Helping with Relief for Haiti

by Savan Thongvanh February 7, 2010

After hurricane Katrina, Google quickly responded using what it’s got the most of, information. Now they’re doing the same with relief for Haiti. Google now has a special site dedicated to:

  • info on donating relief funds using well known text campaigns
  • donating relief funds using Google Checkout
  • offering a website badge to help locate victims
  • providing a dedicated news feed
  • and of course, providing map overlays of the affected areas
